I can't speak to the food since we just popped in for a night cap, but the cocktails were excellent. The ambiance was great (very dim lit romantic type of setting). If you're in the area and looking for some tasty, but unique cocktails, I'd definitely recommend it. The service was solid as well.

We came here with a big group of friend to celebrate a birthday. The place itself is really nice, we sat outside and the atmosphere was so pretty. The food was okay, definitely overpriced. I know NY prices are high but $20 for two little tacos is a little much. You’re definitely paying for the aesthetic. The worse part was the service. We came here on a Monday and it wasn’t busy, but somehow the food took FOREVER, two people in our party never got their food, they watched us eat the whole time because the waitress forgot to ring their food. (At the end they gave us the food we never received in containers to go for free, but when we got to the car one of the orders was completely wrong, it wasn’t even the food we ordered).
We were given an alcoholic drink after asking for a normal iced tea. Not only that, but when the check came we were charged for extra drinks we never ordered… probably won’t be coming back here.
Amazing service and friendly people. I chose too sit outside and it was really nice. A ad bit dark so for those who have trouble seeing in the dark might struggle. We went when the sun was already set so it was just the fairy lights but it was still very lovely. The food was pretty good it was really good and came up pretty fast. A tad bit expensive for the portions but it’s definitely a must try.
Was pleasently suprised with my dinner experience at Gran Electrica! Came without reservation on a weekday around 7PM and was able to get a lovely outdoors table right away. The guac and chips were great, including free chip refill, but a little spicy. I loved the chicken tacos the best, but the carnitas were also good. The atmosphere was lively and the service was good. Would recommend people making a reservation next time and going for ice cream to see the riverfront after. Would come again!
Amazing margaritas and the staff is great. Such a must visit in dumbo and has a nice outdoor garden in the back.
I’ve been here couple times and always loved the atmosphere, food is good and our service was very efficient.
I wish they had more items in the menu. Next time I’m going to try sitting in their patio, looks nice.
Extremely disappointing for the price. Very average. Why does guacamole and salsa cost $18? Everyone left hungry and disappointed regardless of what they ate - not because the food is necessarily "bad" but it's so average when you compare it to the prices it doesn't make sense. They can do better and they should. The location is great and interiors are beautiful. But that doesn't mean you get a free pass to serve average food. Pictured are the guacamole/salsa and chips, quessadilla, and tacos (all vegetarian)
Really good food, friendly and attentive service. I loved the mushroom and huitlacoche quesadilla, the tamales, the Chile relleno, and the goat and quesobirria tacos. I thought the pork in the tacos al pastor was a bit dry. There are a bunch of good vegetarian options. The cake in the chocoflan dessert was dry and a bit hard. Portions are on the smaller side, so you get to try more things, though it can get expensive. The place gets loud when full.
